The Psychology Student Working Group had its first meeting

On May 12 there was the reactivation of the Psychology Students Working Group of the Inter-American Psychology Society (SIP). The main objective of the meeting was to share what the project seeks to achieve, to create a collaborative network of psychology students where dialogue, listening and cultural diversity prevail.


To inaugurate the meeting, Dr. Carlos Zalaquett, president of the IAPA, and Dr. Rodrigo Mazo, member of the Board of Directors,


were present. "This initiative is a possibility for students to start leading joint actions to strengthen the psychology union in the Americas and the development of psychology in the region," said Dr. Rodrigo Mazo.


More than 20 students interested in joining participated in this space, representing countries such as Mexico, the United States, Panama, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala, Bolivia, among others. Those who belong to this work team, as IAPA partners, will also have the possibility of bein


g members of other work groups such as the Training in Psychology, the Sexual Diversities, the Clinical Psychology, among others.


The meetings of the Working Group will be held monthly, in these it will be sought that through dialogue knowledge is generated that can be shared in various regions. Those interested in participating are invited to contact the email sipstudentsworkgroup@gmail.com.
